Submit your class notebook.

Your next Literature Circle Discussion will be Monday.

  • Complete your Role Sheet on a separate piece of paper, as I have your Notebook!
  • You should complete your novel by Monday, April 4.

  • What is denotation?  
    • What is connotation?
      • What, then, is euphemism?
2. Let's discuss 
  • Relocation
  • Disinfecting or Delousing Center, 
  • Camp, and 
  • The Final Solution.
    •  How is each term a euphemism?

Work Period:

Jigsaw the terms for #2 among pairs in the classroom...
  • Open Up Two Tabs...
    • United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
    • Office 365 Powerpoint document.
  • Create a New Powerpoint.  
    • Use "Frame" template.
  • Share the document with Andrew and I.
  • After your title slide (With your names)...
  • Insert New Slide: Picture with Caption
  • As you research your term, use the keys to COPY photos.  Paste the Images you Find
  • Use the slides to insert commentary or descriptions on the left.  Include dates.
  • Credit each image or fact on the bottom left in a small font.  
    • "Source: _ __ _ _ _ _ _"
