Learning Objectives:
  • How do I prepare for the EA in my literature circle?
  • What is the best way to summarize information from the Holocaust Museum and contribute events to a class timeline?
  • How can I create talking points and deliver them in a collaborative presentation?



Warm-Up:
1. Finish Up the Dangerous Diction Slide Show

2. Add one more sentence to your homework paragraph - use one of the three terms just presented.


3. Literature Circles (20 minutes)

  • Review the EA with groups done reading.  Everyone else - outside the room.


Work Period:
4.  Still Reading - Determine your next roles and chunk of reading.



5. Go to 3.7: Exploring the Museum

  • Read through and Discuss #1
  • Read through the instructions for #2
    • Copy the graphic organizer into your Notebook. - Just make one COLUMN (Topic #1)
      • CN: 4/5 "Exploring the Museum"
6. Assignments:

7. Within your Group - Determine who will research which Subjects.

Research your Subject independently and develop your talking points.  You will focus on words and the vocal delivery of your main points - not on visuals.
